Jeffrey L. Bruce & Company (JBC) is looking for a recent graduate with an agronomy degree having 0 to 3 years of experience, from a reputable college or university and some focus and interest in applying that knowledge to sports fields and landscape projects in urban and rural environments. We’re looking for qualified individuals that are highly motivated, dependable, and have excellent verbal and technical communication skills. Applicants must be knowledgeable with college/university level concepts and defining terms in Soil Taxonomy, Soil Chemistry/Fertility, and Soil Physics. Candidates with an interest in inverted filter design, USGA greens concepts, as well as horticultural practices in turf, trees, and ornamentals is a plus.

We nationally specialize in urban/engineered soils design, irrigation design, subdrainage design, green roof design, green infrastructure and sportsfield system design. Internship

JBC is seeking talented applicants for a full-time or part-time paid internship position in our Des Moines or Kansas City offices. This position will expose the intern to a variety of exciting landscape architectural projects. Interns will gain experience with construction document preparation, 3-D visualization, community engagement, landscape design communication, and will also have plenty of opportunity to get outside the office to visit the sites of local construction projects. The best part? It will be fun.
