Spencer has been extensively involved with a wide range of projects, including DC’s City Ridge development, the East End Transformation at Washington University in St. Louis, Seattle's Washington State Convention Center, and the Nord Family Greenway in Cleveland. Given JBC's unique positioning on projects, he enjoys the opportunity to work on such a myriad of projects through collaboration with national landscape architecture firms. Depending on JBC’s role, he is involved with design development, construction documentation, and construction administration and observation.

Spencer graduated from Iowa State University with a major in landscape architecture and a minor in Spanish. He is an active member of the local Prairie Gateway chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. While away from the office, Spencer enjoys his time outdoors and on his bicycle!
